Brand gifting, event identity, and experiential design for Growth Operators

UNCLE HANDSOME'S HONEY

Private Equity Gifting Program

Growth Operators sources wildflower honey from Dave, a Minnesota beekeeper, and sends it to private equity clients. The label needed to hold two ideas at once: the warmth of honey from a real person’s hive and the polish expected on a managing partner’s desk.

I illustrated Dave by hand and built the identity around vintage apiary cues—engraved framing, arched typography, and straightforward claims. The result feels personal, distinctive, and refined.

EVENT BADGE DESIGN

Annual GoGather Event

A name badge is the most disposable object at any event. This one was built to be kept. GoGather is Growth Operators' twice-yearly company-wide gathering, held offsite around the Twin Cities—in 2025, a Twins game.

I designed a two-sided badge on vintage ballpark conventions: pennant lockups, hand-drawn mascots, stadium palette. Event identity on the front, the person wearing it on the back. Credential and souvenir in the same piece.

EVENT LOGO

Clubs & Connections

The name is the concept: golf clubs, professional connections. Growth Operators hosts the event at Hazeltine National, a course with enough history that anything printed near it has to earn the right.

The mark follows country club crest conventions—circular lockup, crossed clubs, banner type, year and location set like a member's badge. It had to look like it belonged to the course, not to the calendar invite.
